Soft Chamois is a warm off-white with a shaded appearance. Temperature is a useful description, but neighboring materials can change the impression. Soft Chamois offers a shaded warm-white appearance rather than the strongest possible white contrast.
Limestone and unbleached cotton can support that softness, but the existing ceiling white sets a separate boundary that should be kept visible.
Use Ballet White as a control
Put Soft Chamois directly against the whitest permanent surface and then against the warmest one. If those two boundaries disagree, decide which surface controls the project.
